We are currently building a talent pool of skilled Steel Fixers for upcoming opportunities with multiple clients across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

This is not a single vacancy, but a pooling portal designed to identify and engage qualified candidates for current and future roles as they arise.

Successful applicants will be considered for placements with leading employers on infrastructure, commercial, and large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and steel schedules

• Cut, bend, and fix reinforcement steel (rebar) according to specifications

• Install steel bars, mesh, and cages for concrete reinforcement

• Tie the rebar securely using hand and power tools

• Ensure correct spacing, alignment, and positioning before concrete pouring

• Follow health and safety regulations on-site at all times

• Work closely with site supervisors and other trades

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Steel Fixer or in a similar role within construction

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and bar bending schedules

• Good knowledge of reinforcement techniques and materials

• Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to relocate to the UK or Ireland for employment

Language Requirement (Mandatory)

As part of the visa and employment requirements:

• Candidates must hold a valid UKVI IELTS (Academic or General Training)

• A minimum score of 5.5 in each section (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) is required
