Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Northern Ireland, is seeking an experienced Spray Painter to join their production team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with experience in surface preparation, spray application, and finishing to specification.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing components for painting, mixing and applying paint finishes, and ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards. The role involves hands-on use of spray equipment and collaboration with supervisors to maintain high production standards.
Essential Requirements
Experience preparing parts and assemblies for painting, including surface preparation
Ability to mix paint and related materials accurately in accordance with specifications or formulas
Competent in the use of spray guns and application of paint to required specifications
Experience using heat or oven drying techniques for specialist or high-quality finishes
Knowledge of cleaning and maintaining spray equipment using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths
Ability to identify, separate, and report non-conforming parts or materials
Willingness to carry out material handling and minor maintenance tasks
Strong understanding of and adherence to company procedures and health & safety requirements
Flexibility and willingness to work overtime, evenings, and weekends as required
Must already hold, or be willing to obtain, UKVI IELTS with a minimum score of 5.5 in each section
