Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Panel Beater to join their busy bodyshop team. The successful candidate will repair, restore and replace damaged vehicle bodywork to a high standard — ensuring safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess damaged vehicles and accurately evaluate the required repair methods.
- Remove, straighten, repair or replace damaged panels, using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and welding or bonding techniques as required.
- Carry out panel realignment, structural repairs, panel straightening and body-shell replacements as needed.
- Prepare and treat repaired panels: grinding, filling, sanding, and other prep work to prepare surfaces for painting/refinishing.
- Reassemble vehicle parts to manufacturer or bodyshop standards; ensure final alignment and structural integrity.
- Maintain workshop, tools and equipment in a clean, safe, and organised manner; adhere to health & safety standards at all times.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater / Bodyshop Technician (or similar) — ideally at least 2–3 years.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding or bonding equipment, panel straightening tools and bodywork repair methods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Physically capable of handling heavy vehicle components and performing tasks involving lifting and manual handling.
Essential Language / Immigration Requirement
- Must already hold — or be willing to obtain — a UKVI-recognised IELTS certificate (or equivalent proof of English language proficiency acceptable for UK work eligibility).
