As an assembly fitter, you will work as part of a team to build both static and mobile recycling machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Follow engineering drawings to build heavy equipment, i.e. conveyors, screens
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments
• Work on own initiative
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
• Use overhead gantries and forklifts to lift and move equipment safely

Qualifications:

• Two years of experience working in a similar environment
• Previous experience as an assembly fitter
• Experience using hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling
