The Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Catering Engineer to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the service, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of catering equipment, with particular expertise in combi-ovens and gas appliances. Experience with small refrigeration systems would be advantageous, though full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and installation of commercial catering equipment.

• Diagnose and repair faults effectively to minimise downtime for clients.

• Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality technical service.

• Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth job completion.

Essential Criteria

• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.

• Proven problem-solving ability to identify root causes of faults.

• Competence in reading and interpreting technical data and documentation.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information and respond to queries confidently.

Desirable

• Experience with small refrigeration equipment (training available if required).

• Relevant industry certifications or gas qualifications.
