We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established company based in Northern Ireland, for an experienced HGV Diesel Mechanic to join their operations team. This is a great opportunity to work with a professional and supportive garage department maintaining a modern fleet and plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out MOT, PSV preparation, servicing, and repairs on vehicles and plant.

• Ensure the workshop and equipment are kept clean and in working order.

• Maintain accurate service records and inspections.

• Follow all Health & Safety and company procedures.

• Respond to callouts and occasional overtime as required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 2–3 years’ experience in diesel mechanics.

• Experience in PSV prep, hydraulics, welding, and plant maintenance.

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.

• A proactive, safety-first attitude.

Desirable Qualifications:

• HGV1 Licence

• Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)

• Previous HGV driving experience
