About the Company:

Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Northern Ireland, is seeking a skilled CNC Milling and Turning Operator to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with precision engineering in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, producing high-quality components for various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up CNC milling and turning machines to manufacture precision components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure products meet required tolerances and quality standards.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to optimize machining processes.
• Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to prevent downtime and ensure smooth production.
• Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and efficiency targets.
• Follow health & safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in CNC milling and turning operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
• Experience working with Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Siemens controls (preferred but not essential).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Understanding of CNC programming (G-code).
